Lupa Hub — Seller Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Lupa Hub mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a seller account or using Lupa Hub, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.
2. Seller Accounts & Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current business and contact information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account. Lupa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Marketplace Transactions
Lupa Hub is the seller portal for the Lupa marketplace platform. As a seller, you may list products, set prices, manage inventory, and fulfil orders placed by buyers. All prices must be listed in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless otherwise agreed. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing. You agree to fulfil orders promptly and in accordance with any commitments made in your listings.
3a. Order Readiness & Dispatch
Once a buyer's payment is confirmed, you will receive a notification to begin packing the order. You must tap "Mark Ready for Pickup" in the App as soon as all items in your portion of the order are packed and ready to hand over. Marking an order ready triggers rider dispatch. Failure to mark an order ready within the applicable service-level window may result in a delayed dispatch notification, seller performance flags, or other remedies as communicated by Lupa.
3b. Collection PIN Verification
To protect buyers and sellers from unauthorised package collection, a 6-digit Collection PIN is generated for each order and issued to the assigned rider. When a rider arrives at your premises for pickup, the rider must present their Collection PIN verbally or by showing it on their device. You are required to enter this PIN into the App to confirm the rider's identity before handing over any items. This PIN entry creates a verified handoff record for your store. Do not hand over items to any rider who cannot provide the correct PIN. Lupa shall not be liable for losses arising from handoffs made without PIN verification. For multi-seller (multistore) orders, each seller must verify the PIN independently; another seller's verification does not satisfy your requirement.
4. Fees & Payments
Lupa may charge service fees or commissions on transactions. Any applicable fees will be communicated to you in advance. Payouts for completed orders will be processed according to the payment schedule and methods available on the platform.
5. Product Standards
You agree not to list products that are illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited under Zambian law. Lupa reserves the right to remove listings and suspend sellers who violate product standards.
6. Privacy
Lupa Hub collects and processes personal and business data (name, email, phone, store details) to facilitate marketplace operations and improve the App. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. 7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; post false, misleading, or fraudulent product listings; manipulate reviews or ratings; interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lupa Hub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lupasphere Integrated Platforms Limited and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lupasphere Integrated Platforms Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your product listings, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications
Lupa reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App with at least 14 days notice where possible. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zambia.
